Yukon Sourdough Rendezvous

Immediately following Frostbite each year is the Yukon Sourdough Rendezvous Festival, a winter carnival with a true northern theme. Tons of fun outdoor events are enjoyed by both participants and spectators. Axe tossing, dog sled races, corporate challenges, jigging contests, flour packing and more are held during the day. Each night the festival goes indoors with the Fiddle Competition, the Queen Crowning and Sourdough Sam events. There’s treats to eat at AFY’s Sugar Shack, and a Kids Fun Fair provides indoor fun for the under 15s when its too cold outside. There’s something for everyone at Rendezvous. Don’t miss the Yukon Sourdough Rendezvous Can-Can dancers and the Snow-shoe Shufflers who help provide the colour and fun at each event.
